or those who aren’t familiar with Joe McNally, he is actually one of the most renowned photographers in the world! Having shot for National Geographic on many assignments he is known for being the photographer that shoots the impossible. Thanks goes out to Louis Pang who runs Wedshooter.tv for bringing over Joe McNally to KL. Honestly I have always been dreaming of attending such a workshop, its such a bonus that now ‘The Photographer’ comes to us, and we are so fortunate. I’m overjoyed now to be officially one of his students !
e learnt much in the class about how to light our subjects using small camera flashes. Despite the fact that Joe uses a Nikon™ I found the class was thoroughly helpful even for the Canon™ users too, like myself. Anyway here’s some pictures I managed to shoot during my time in the workshop here. Btw for those still interested to catch Joe live in KL you can attend a seminar in Shangri-La on the 6th of February.

Louis as a model to Joe, hehe, a high key shot.
Joe intensely explaining the theories of light and how to manipulate it.

‘You must remember…..’
